One-of-a-Kind
Welcome! These are my newest line of books….some call ‘em Steam Punk ( even though I’d never heard of that before ) …..I just like the old world character of them. They are all kept closed with a rusty hasp and vintage padlock of your choosing. All hardware is attached to the leather with hand-hammered copper rivets and is in various stages of rustiness….all have been sealed, but some may continue to rust a bit. The book you see in the photo is the one you will receive since they are all ONE-OF-A-KIND, and it will be removed from the site or marked as “sold” as soon as you place your order. If you prefer a padlock in another photo, just mention the one you like in the special requests box at checkout and I will include it with your book ( if someone else hasn’t requested it first )since none of the books are “married” to the padlock with which they are photographed. Keep in mind that the larger books are matched with larger padlocks and small books with smaller. You can match a smaller padlock with a larger book, but not a larger padlock with smaller books, as they will not fit through the hasp.
